So, say you sell it quickly for around $200,000.

What car do you buy with the money?

A couple of Restomods.

Interceptor R with the Hellcat engine. Not sure whether I want AWD or RWD.

Defender 110 with a JLR TDV8.

Since I am older than 18 and there were no stipulations that I couldn’t spend the extra money on whatever, I would go back in time and buy a clean FJZ80 with the factory supercharger and magic dial, and use the rest on college.

I would use the money to buy a 2.3L, manual, Focus ZX3 and turn it into a 2003 Euro Focus RS clone.

Normally I’d say Audi R8, but I know I don’t have the skill to drive an R8, and I’d kill myself in a week.

So I’d buy import a B5 RS4, then drop the V6 into my Passat, get 2 turbos and boost it to ~800HP. Of course I’d also transfer the Transmission and Quattro system over as well so I don’t blow it up the first time I attempt a AWD burnout. (Because this definitely wouldn’t kill me.)

But since the RS4 is wider (by 3 inches if I remember correctly), I’ll have to get a custom bodykit to fit the presumably wider axle/tires. And if I’m gonna do that, might as well carbon fiber the fenders.

Finally, I’d top it all off with a redesigned suspension, complete with competition coilovers.

That does sound pretty sweet. Although I’m sure I’d kill myself much more quickly in a 800-hp Passat than in a V10 R8!

Oh hell yeah to the Jensen.

Restomods are so cool.

This is an Alfa made quicker and reliable. This for the week-ends, the Jensen for the trips and the Land Rover when you need a workhorse. Life would be pretty sweet indeed.

I am 18, and while I am not as bratty and spoiled to bitch about being given a Lamborghini in the wrong color as it could easily be wrapped in any color of my choosing, I would consider many options. A first-gen Lamborghini Gallardo for example which is a car I have listed after since I was very little. Yellow. Black interior. Six speeds of gated manual goodness. Oh yes.

Maybe I’d get something slightly more modest like a new Corvette and put the left over money to fund my guitar buying habit and pay for this little thing called ‘college.’

Maybe I’d spend $10k to make my current car really very nice and spend the rest on say a black guard Tele from the early 50’s or an old gold top Les Paul. Maybe a really tatty 1960 burst. Who knows?

Very fun to spend hypothetical money, love these kind of games.
